Life Drawing: Stephen Palmer
Stephen Palmer has been running life drawing classes at Lewisham Arthouse since 1996. Most of the sessions are suitable for all abilities, including beginners. Regular classes are held Monday daytimes and evenings. There are also occasional Saturday and Sunday sessions.

Ceramics: Shirley Stewart
All levels of experience are welcome from complete beginners to intermediate and advanced for improvement and progression.
Current courses: 3-day Weekend Throwing, Hand Building and Glazing Workshops, 5 Day Summer Courses and Evening Studio Pottery Classes.

Printing without a Press: Rosey Prince
Wednesdays 7-9.30pm & Thursdays 10am-12.30pm
Rosey Prince has taught etching and monoprinting classes in adult education for nearly 20 years at Community Education Lewisham and more recently at City Lit Institute. Printing without a press is an informal and friendly workshop style class adapted to suit individual students from beginners to experienced artists, exploring monoprinting, woodcuts, lino and relief printing.

Tapestry Weaving: Sara Kelly
Sara runs regular weaving courses at Lewisham Arthouse on Friday afternoons and on weekends. These sessions are suitable for all abilities and will teach you fundamental tapestry weaving skills.

Botanical Illustration: Alison Day
Mondays 1.00 - 2.30pm July 14th – Aug 18th
Introduction to plant drawing exploring different styles, techniques and plant identification. Participants must provide paper/sketchbook and drawing equipment.

Ceramics: Nina Necak
No experience is needed to be creative and enjoy Nina’s pottery courses. Beginners and those with more experience are encouraged to use the space to be creative through a range of techniques including hand building and throwing. She provides demonstrations on throwing, sculpture, hand building, glazing and is experienced in helping other artists with their ceramic projects. Current courses: Tuesday Studio Pottery, Weekend Workshops, Taster Sessions, One to One Sessions.

Black and White Photography: Alison Day
Wednesdays 5.30 - 7.00pm, July 16th – Aug 20th
Introduction to Analogue Photography, camera skills, film processing and silver gelatine printing for beginners. Participants must provide a camera, film and paper (cameras are available for a fee, please ask).

Fine Art for Young People: Alison Day
Tuesdays 4.30 – 6.00 pm July 15th – Aug 19th
A Children’s After School Art Club for 7-11 years old, introducing drawing, painting skills, and other 2D processes. Participants must provide paper/sketchbook and drawing equipment.
