Interlude

Private View: Friday 26th January Exhibition

Interlude presents fourteen emerging artists in their final postgraduate year in sculpture at The Slade School of Art graduate. The show is an exposition of artists on the brink, preparing to enter the wider art world, and all of its anxieties. Retaining the spirit of the experimental as exemplified atmosphere of the studio space, work in progress is in show, installation is playful, and correspondences are allowed to emerge. There is no theme. These artists’ practices are connected by shared space, time, and discourse. They are a community, formed by an institution and its short fallings, intending to mark this specific moment in the lead up to the degree show.
