‘Wat Tyler English Rebel’ is an exhibition of paintings by artist Laura Gaiger. The exhibition explores the distant memory of the summer of 1381, using historic materials such as casein paint and silverpoint. At the core of the exhibition is a long; rippling painting on paper, a speculative sketch for a mura celebrating Wat Tyler, leader of the Peasant’s Revolt.
